Welcome to the home page of the 31st Summer School on Image Processing (SSIP 2023) that will be held between 10th and 16th of July 2023, at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, Serbia. The summer school has a long tradition and is targeted towards graduate and postgraduate students providing opportunity for students to gain new knowledge in this exciting research area. Moreover, The SSIP is a forum for current research on the following (or similar) research subjects which are directly or potentially applicable to digital image processing/analysis:

• Biomedical image analysis
• Medical image analysis
• Image registration
• Image segmentation
• Energy minimization methods
• Tomographic image reconstruction
• Digital/combinatorial geometry and topology
• Microscopic image analysis
• Non-traditional 2D Grids
• Computer vision

The established tradition of SSIP is that, in addition to the morning lectures given by renowned lecturers on a wide range of topics from image processing and computer vision, in the afternoons students work in teams and solve project assignments. On the last full day of the Summer School, teams present their results to fellow participants and an evaluation committee (selected from lecturers).

Students will receive a certificate of attending the Summer School and passing the exam. This Summer School is accepted as a special PhD course by several Universities.
