Component-based programming in the Era of Smart Devices
Sažetak / Abstract
There are number already proved advantages of Component-based software engineering: high software quality, rapid application development etc. However many technological changes are observed since early outbreak of component-based software engineering (CBSE) paradigm on 1990's. One of these changes is clear shift towards mobile and cloud computing platforms. The goal of this presentation is to outline major changes of the component concept and changes of CBSE in general influenced by the mobile platforms. The models of iOS, Android and Windows Phone Applications are presented. Main similarities and differences of the legacy systems and the mobile component-based systems will be exposed. The discussion about formal methods on smart device programming is expected after the presentation.
